Why would I become a subscriber of SpreadingTheLove?  back to top

Because as a member you can quickly and simply get reminders of your friends' and families
birthdays, anniversaries and any other events you choose. In other words, you need never forget an
important date again. Subscribers have access to a wide range of eCards which is continually
growing. Check out our Testimonials to see how much our subscribers love our service. We know
you will too.



When will I be emailed?  back to top

We will only use your email address to send you your remainders and occasional information directly
related to your use of SpreadingTheLove. We will never sell, or pass your details on to a
third party.



How do I become a subscriber to SpreadingTheLove?  back to top

Just click here and enter your details. We only ask you for your email address, password, first and last name. Your account are free, you can cancel whenever you want, but seeing as you don't have to pay for it, why would you do that?



I didn't receive an email?  back to top

The email that we sent you may have gone into your junk, or spam folder because it is not from a
recognised email address.
If you are using a web mail service such as Hotmail, or Yahoo, or a spam filter, then messages may
be sent to your junk email folder because they are not addressed directly to you, or approved
by you. You should look in your junk folder and then click on the "Not Junk Mail" button to
approve emails sent from us in the future.



Problems with verifying emails?  back to top

If you are having a problem with verifying your email using webmail such as Yahoo, or Hotmail please
check that your message content is enabled. You will find this note, highlighted at the top
of the email. Just click "enable message content" to be able to click on on the link and verify .





EXISTING SUBSCRIBERS


How do I change my email address?  back to top


You can change your email address by doing the following:
1. If you haven't already, sign in by entering your username (email address) and password.
2. Click on PERSONAL DETAILS and click on the edit button beside your email address.
3. Enter your desired email address and confirm it, then click on the SAVE button.
4. Please note that your email address is your username.


How do I change my registered name or password?  back to top

1. If you haven't already, sign in by entering your username (email address) and password.
2. Click on the PERSONAL DETAILS link.
3. Click on the EDIT button to the left of your name, or password.
4. Change your name or password and click the SAVE button.


I have lost my password. What can I do?  back to top

1. Simply click here, or click on the FORGOT PASSWORD link beside the password field.
2. This will take you to a page where you can enter a new password.
Even we don't know your password (passwords are encrypted for your security)


How do I cancel my SpreadingTheLove subscription?  back to top

You can cancel your subscription at any time:
1.If you haven't already, sign in by entering your username (email address) and password, and then
open the help page again.
2. Then click here to go the Unsubscribe page. Or you can go to your personal details or account info
page and click the unsubscribe button there.

If you are unable to sign-in to cancel your subscription then please Contact Us and we will be happy
to help you.

You can cancel your subscription at any time:If you get the message saying Error Username/Password is wrong please check that you are putting in your password exactly as you specified it originally. Be sure to check that you are using capital letters if you entered the password that way first time. Also check that your browser has not pre-filled your username and password that it has remembered from another web site. This is especially important if you use the same username on another web site. Browsers will often prefill the password field with the password you use on another web site to make life easier. To stop that from happening just select the password, delete it and type your password in again.

eCARDS


How do I send a eCard?  back to top


1. Click on the eCards thumbnails, or the eCards menu, or search by using the SEARCH fields on the
right of the page.
2. When you click on a thumbnail you will be taken to the sending page where if you are happy with
your card you can write out a message and then preview it, or send it.
3. If you are not happy with the card you can click on the CHOOSE ANOTHER CARD button.
4. Once you have written out your message you can send it by typing in an email address, or choose
one from your ADDRESS BOOK.
5. To see what your card will look like click on the PREVIEW button and if you are happy with it you
can close that window and then click on SEND.


How do I view, change, or delete an eCard sent by me?  back to top

1. Log in to your account and click on the OUTBOX tab and you will see a list of the cards you have
sent, or are scheduled to be sent.
2. If the card is not yet sent you can amend it by clicking on EDIT.
3. If you have already sent the card, you can click on RESEND and send it again, or DELETE to remove
it from your OUTBOX.


How do I know if my eCard has been read?  back to top

You will be sent an email telling you when your eCard has been read by each recipient of that card.





REMINDERS


How do I set reminders?  back to top


Please note you can only add reminders to an existing contact in your Address Book.
1. Click on the REMINDERSmenu button and you can VIEW, or ADD reminders.
2. You have to add someone to your ADDRESS BOOK before you can set a reminder for that person.
3. Once you've added them in the ADDRESS BOOK, you can use the SET REMINDER link to set a reminder
of any important events in for that person.
How do I change an existing reminder?
1. Log in to your account and click on the REMINDERS button.
2. Click on the EDIT link beside that reminder and enter the new details.
3. When you are finished click SAVE to continue.


Can I choose how far in advance to be reminded of birthdays?  back to top

1. Log in to your account and click on the REMINDERS - OPTIONS tab.
2. There you can receive 2 emails for each reminder you have set.
3. The 1st reminder can be sent anything from 1 week to 6 months before the event.
4. The 2nd reminders can be sent anything from 1 day to 6 days before the event.
5. These are global settings, which means that these settings will be applied to all reminders that
you set.

Can I get reminders for events other than Birthdays?  back to top

Yes, you can set reminders for any event you choose. You can set-up the reminder and then give a
name of your choosing. Please note you can only add reminders to an existing contact in your
Address Book.
1. Log in to your account and click on the REMINDERS - ADD drop down menu.
2. Choose a contact from the drop down menu and then enter the event name in the Comments field. You
can add as many reminders as you like, up to ten at one time.
3. Then enter the date of the event.
4. Click on the SAVE button to continue.
